Mental Health Family Program
MRC has partnered with NAMI to provide an educational support group for families of individuals with mental health disorders. In this group, families will learn how to navigate a loved one’s mental illness while also caring for their own well being. As many of us know, this can be debilitating without the proper support and education. This group is curriculum-based and led by a peer who is trained, by NAMI, to facilitate the course.
This group is appropriate for any loved ones of our current/past/future patients that have a diagnosed mental illness, regardless of which campus they are receiving treatment from. Registration is also open to the general public; the only qualification is a loved one with a mental illness.
Important Details:
• Families must register for this course in advance. Visit http://namimissouri.org/FTF to register.
• This is a closed group. This means that individuals start and finish with the same group of loved ones.
• This is an 8-week program, offered on Saturdays from 9am-11:30am
